Artist application terms

Terms and conditions for working the Bristol Tattoo Convention 2020.

You agree on behalf of the artist and studio named below to release Bristol Tattoo Convention Ltd and it’s employees and agents from all manner of claims, actions and demands in law arising from the procedure of tattooing, damages, accidents or thefts in your work area. You should check that your insurance arrangements cover the artists and studio for this event.

You understand that upon submitting this application you are entering into an agreement with Bristol Tattoo Convention Ltd and the venue.

The total cost per artist is £350 per artist including VAT.

You agree to make payment of £350 within 30 days of invoice date. If unpaid, you understand that your space will be offered to the next artist in line. All payments are non-refundable.

All successful applicants will need to provide a copy of your local council registration documents.

I agree to follow the safety and hygiene procedures outlined below whilst working at Bristol Tattoo Convention 2020.

  • ID clients to ensure they are age 18+
  • Hand out consent forms for all clients to sign before getting tattooed.
  • Hand out aftercare forms to all clients.
  • Wash hands at the stations provided.
  • Wear disposable gloves and change frequently throughout tattoo procedure.
  • Keep a clean and tidy workstation.
  • Clean down workstation between clients.
  • Dispose of needles and waste in appropriate bags and containers provided.
  • Bring all sanitizing products and sterile items required to adhere to the hygiene guidelines or iftravelling from abroad inform us of any products you require.

The Booth Includes:
At least 2 power sockets,
Artists working table,
Front table,
Waste water bucket,
Clinical and general waste sacks,
Sharps container.

Aprons, gloves, sleeves and other hygiene supplies will be available from vendors at the show should you require them.

Reprographic services are provided free of charge.

There is lighting, but we do advise that you bring along a lamp, desk fan and a table cover.

Our staff will greet you, help you with your equipment, show you to your booth and be on hand to help all weekend.
